We already know the Chargers players will be in play here, and all seem very intriguing at positions of need here.

As far as WR, I would rather wait and see if Ochocinco refuses to restructure with the Pats and they release him.

With all the talk about Chargers free-agent-to-be receiver Vincent Jackson, not much attention has been devoted to the team’s other potential free agents.

Among the free agents is defensive lineman Antonio Garay. According to a league source, it’s unlikely that the Chargers and Garay will work out a new contract before March 13. Which means that Garay will hit the open market.

Not really big names but two guys that may be good additions are DE Cliff Avil from the Lions and WR Donnie Avery from the Rams.

Avil- Would add solid depth to the front 4 and was under shadowed behind Suh and Fairley. Solid contributor to their line.

Avery- Was injured last season but when he plays he is fast and would be a great deep threat. I think he would be an upgrade over Edwards and Naane.
