We are losing so many of the "greatest generation" every day.

I just picked up his memoir off the discount shelf at the bookstore last week, good timing.

I seem to remember him having a rather storied athletic career before the war, and quite an accomplished life after as well.

Rest easy soldier, thanks for your service.

Great soldier.

The whole woods around Foy really messed him up and rightfully so. Good to see he was able to overcome that and become a very productive member of society. He'd already done enough for our country before coming back.
