Running QBs don't win Super Bowls..

Yup, that WR goes one more yard andMcNair becomes a "pure passer for some reason.", which show how fragile and stupid the idea is in the first place.

In general, way too much emphasis is placed on QB's winning or losing SB's. Last time I checked, it was a team sport... in fact it's the ultimate team sport which makes the idea even more silly.

Ftfy.

This is why many are calling for the sports media to be more intergrated. Way to many of the same folks believing their own ish. The sports media really need some race intervention, especially in the NFL.

As I've said before, the NFL is the only sport that is trying to hold steadfast to dividing race so they can feel better about themselves. Let it go..

I can't believe we're still being made to believe that being athlete and able to run is bad if your a black QB but when it's done by white QBs it simply adds to their talent.

Another thing that bothers me are those who like to use the SB as a barometer for the point about black QBs. When the truth is, there have been three times as many white QBs entiring the draft every season as black QBs. And many of those black QBs end up changing their positions so they can remain in the NFL. And for as many white QBs, there have only been about 44 QBs who have won SB since it's inception.

That brings us to the true rushing quarterbacks. No running quarterback in NFL history has every one the Super Bowl. This includes terrific runners such as Randall Cunningham, Donovan McNabb, Michael Vick, Steve McNair and Fran Tarkenton. Tarkenton had three chances to win the Super Bowl for the Minnesota Vikings but failed each time. So it seems that quarterbacks must possess good passing skills to win the big game.

If it's only bad for blacks why does he include a white guy?

And the writer mentioning Steve Young and Aaron Rogers goes against his whole point

I'm not agreeing with the writers point. I'm simply stating you can't say "oh this guy thinks being athletic is only bad for blacks" because him including a white guy disproves that

Quarterbacks that can run, but can't pass very well don't win Superbowls.

Fortunately, it seems that Newton can do both. But as he and the offense mature, I don't think Newton will run as much. And that will be a good thing.

exactly... all this will be moo soon anyways.

What's another year of proving all the critics wrong?

Camf*ckingtastic that's what!
