La Canfora has Claiborne falling to us

If Clairborne is there we should take him, if not go Janoris Jenkins.

Munnerlyn was arguably one of the worst starting corners in the leauge last year.

One could make the argument that improving our pass rush would help cover up deficiencies in a secondary, unfortunately there's no one who can make up for Captains terrible play, especially with Sherrod Martin being the safety net behind him.

In addition a great secondary can help your pass rush have more time to get to the qb.

That being said I am not delusional enough to think we have stars in the making at DT, but id like to give our rookies a chance to have another year and Ron Edwards back from injury to before I write them off of being at least being sufficient with the right pieces around them.

So if we do go d-linei in the first i'd like to see a do it all DE who can seal the edge in run support and be a more effective pass rusher than Hardy. If no one fits that description then go with the best corner. But remember the outside runs punished us more than ones up the gut last year and We did not have Beason roaming in the middle.

So if we do address corner in the first, take the bpa at any d-line position in the 2nd to ensure value, granted I think if a DE and DT with the same grade are available then I still favor a DE if he can take Hardys spot.

In the 2nd if a great player at WR,T,G,S LB, fall in no particular order they should be considered as well.

Of course this is just my humble opinion that I have arrived at after tons of time dedicated to research after the season ended.

Watching his combine now...40 is slower than projected but he is blowing everyone away with the other drills.....he will not be there when we pick.

Pretty disapointed in other cbs at combine after watching him.Jaron Hosley VT is fast and can return punts

I like how Gilmore performed as well. Possibly a good value pick, good size and athleticism.

Hosley too.

Jenkins looked awesome. Had the best unofficial 10 yd split and great movement, but those personality issues are scary.

I really want to see how Kirkpatrick looks in the second group.

If we can't get Claiborne, I'd rather get a DT over a DE because old man Edwards needs as much help as he can get and so we can put the little kids on the bench (Sione and Mcclain). Why look to replace Hardy so soon when he has potential, is young, and is actually the right size for his position? I think we need more help at DT. We can't go into next season with Division II-like players at DT again.

First we want Coples, switched to Brockers, switched to Poe, now Claiborne. Who's next....Olympia Dukakis?

Who is "we"? There are hundreds of people giving there opinions. I'd be much happier with Claiborne than any of the others if it's an option.

I said it before and will say it again Claiborne could fall to us. Tampa and the Jags both need offence. Still there is a million ways this could play out because there are so many teams with so many needs above us.

running back in the first round over the best cornerback? I don't know, what happened to running backs being a dime a dozen. They're desperate for some offense for sure, but that desperate?

Jenkins looked awesome. Had the best unofficial 10 yd split and great movement, but those personality issues make it impossible.

fixed. We're the Panthers, remember? Janoris is not joining our team.
