I would gladly take him but at a decent price. However, there is certainly no need to overpay anyone (like we have the money to anyway). Also, even if the Panthers do ****** up a linebacker in free agency; they might want to take a look at some linebackers in the later parts of the NFL Draft.

Poe and Castillo play two different positions. Factoring one against the other doesn't have any validity.

Yeah, they play two different positions, but he can move around and most likely would be a DT here. And again, our staff wants to implement the 3-4 quite a bit as well. How is it invalid to assume our coach wouldn't want to bring him in considering their history?

Yeah, he is, but he's got enough size, strength, and speed to play inside.

I didn't look at it before this post, but I thought he was slightly over 300. Apparently, he's 290.

So, I could be wrong, but in a 4-3, he seems like he would shift inside. Seems like he would make a good UT.

Yeah, I'd prefer to take Poe still, considering age and potential... BUT, I do believe Castillo will factor into things here.

just because they are former Chargers doesnt mean that they shouldnt be signed, what if the Chargers released Jammer, would you not sign him just because he's a former Charger castoff??? like i said, i do think he's worth a look and would think about taking this gamble, we need a DT and Rivera knows Castillo, will this happen, i doubt it, but it's worth looking into.
