According to another site, the Canes have had a change of heart and may actually keep Bryan Allen in hopes of signing him to a long term contract.

Supposedly Allen off the block, but Spacek expecting to be moved. Something about Allen having a no trade clause and an extension was thought to be done, but just not now.

Either Canes didn't like what they were getting for Allen, they think they can sign him, or he wouldn't waive his NTC, but TSN is reporting that Allen is no longer being shopped.
