If we want a NT- look no further than Dontari Poe

Lol You may be able to pull that move with lesser posters but you can't realistically expect to do that with me. I am not attacking, I was simply responding. You were the one to state that I lacked credibility because I didn't see things your way, which you would go on to do again at the end of your last post.

And I never said anything about Brockers arms. I simply wanted to know your method of who and what you deem "credible." Because from the looks of it, it looks like you simply reward experts with "credibility" when their opinions align with yours rather than the other way around.

You seem to be getting awfully emotionally invested in this.

How far do you think we could trade back and still get Poe?

To be safe the answer is none. Could he go lower? Of course, but I heard Pat Kirwin address this who used to work in the front office for the Jets. He said that if you want a guy who is expected to go 15th and you are drafting 10th and know he won't be there at your next pick, you should take him at your pick plain and simple. Lets say you trade down to 15 and he goes at 14 to someone else, your stategy just failed if you wanted him at that position because that is where he was supposed to go. If you trade down 5 spots you have to be ready for the top 5 guys left on your board to be gone at those positions and be content with who is left.. The old don't pick him at that spot or he is a reach is for analysts and draft pundits not guys who actually made the decisions. Teams trade up and down so you can't say that this guy or that won't be picked because this team needs a receiver instead of a DT etc. Someone else who needs a DT for example could trade up and ****** him before you pick and you are left with nothing.

I would love to trade back to 12-14 get Poe maybe Cox and pick up a extra 3rd and 4th.

And if you did it and it worked it would be a win. And if you were as content with Still or some other DT later on, you could move lower than that. You either have to trade down and be content to get the BPA on your board at a position of need at that pick or make the pick at 9 if you covet one guy or another. So if you have 4 or 5 DTs you like the same, then trade down. But if you want Poe and you know he won't be there in the second round, trading down is always a gamble.

the strongest DT last year put up 49 reps (even more than Poe) and played in the National Championship his last year before leaving his school (was much more productive on a football field in college).....His 40 time was also expected to be impressive but he hurt his knee in the Senior Bowl and didn't run. (he had put up 4.8 type numbers).

Poe is about 30 lbs heavier -
