In about a month, I will have some money to invest and I either want to go anuity or something else, or both.

If u want diy online go with trade king. Beware fees on annuities. Thats a cash cow for brokers.

My wif01k but the board of directors cuts her a check every year for her IRA. She's used Edward Jones for several years and I've watched her portfolio do pretty well even during these difficult times.

I recently retired again and rolled my 401k into an IRA and I'm using the same broker. Sure, he got 4.5% and can probably buy himself a new car, but I've already almost made it all back in just a couple months.

I've also noticed a lot of the rich widows in town use him as well. So, he's either hung like a race horse or he knows what he's doing. From a money perspective, I'm very happy with my Edward Jones guy...
