He played at Delaware. I remember there being a decent amount of hype around the kid and he had pretty solid Combine results, yet damn near went undrafted and hasn't done much in the league. Bring him in, we need camp bodies and if he turns out to be more than that it'll just be an added bonus.

Tight end Ben Patrick retired today, deciding he no longer wants to play football. Patrick, who signed a contract with the Giants earlier this week, was placed on the reserve/retired list.

Guess he changed his mind, caught a TD in the superbowl with the cards.. could at least be a camp body, maybe even a 3rd stringer for minimum wage

I looked him up and saw 45 rec, 400 + yards, and 4 td's, assumed they were one years worth of stats and got excited. Then I saw the were his combined stats over his career and realized he sucks.
