Rotoworld belives Brian Quick is top 50 talent

Thanks for illustrating my point. I don't think your logic is sound. just because you proclaim the TEs to be adequate options, you miss the reason. Our 3 WRs were in the top 5 in the conference in snaps. We have a vertical offense, which causes our WRs to sprint about 30-40 yards on the average pass play. By the time Cam hits the fourth quarter, he has thrown 24-30 passes. There is no way we are running at 100% then. Look at the second half productivity. Our WRs were getting figured out for the most part. Fatigue is a factor during the game and toward the end of the season.

Besides, you seem confident that Steve Smith, a 5'9" speed WR will not hit the wall at 33. You seem confident that Gettis will be 100% and have progressed into a #2 WR. And everyone thinks that Lafell, with his mediocre (at best) numbers will be enough. You need to keep a WR or two in the development mode. They take time in each system.

I am not saying we need to draft a WR in the second--never have said that. However, to suggest that we are set at WR because we have TEs? Please.

Maybe if the defense had stop anybody or the offense didn't have to go 80 yards to score all the time . They wouldn't be figure out or Fatigue in the 2nd half.

This maybe just my opinion but this Offense having a full offseason and a defense that get s stops and short field for the offense will help more then drafting a wr in the 1st and 2nd round. Getting better play on Special teams will help as well.

We were the only top 5 offense with a rookie QB, Learning a new system, with no Offseason. We will be better on offense just with Cam having more exp. and rep in this offense.

I watched film on Brian Quick and he reminds me a lot of Vincent Jackson. Big body (6'4 220lbs), fast and amazing body control. He one of those people who will go and get it. Its almost impossible to cover him 1 on 1. Dude got 2,000 yards receiving in 1 year while double covered with #1 corner and safety at all times.
