Rotoworld belives Brian Quick is top 50 talent

Appalachian State WR Brian Quick's two unofficial forty-yard dash times at the Combine were 4.48 and 4.53.

Quick isn't Stephen Hill, but he's got impressive speed for a 6-foot-3 1/2 and 220-pound wide receiver. While some draftniks believe he'll be a mid- to late-round pick, the NFL is higher on Quick than the media. He has a legitimate shot to go in the top 50, and today's performance will help his cause.

They also believe Streeter is extremely raw.

Miami (FL) WR Tommy Streeter ran unofficial forty-yard dash times of 4.34 and 4.38 at the NFL Combine.

At 6-foot-5, 219, he's a freak of nature. Streeter will particularly appeal to NFL teams that upgrade prospects for workout numbers. (And there are plenty of them, even in the post-Al Davis era.) In terms of production, Streeter was less impressive in college. His only big year came as a junior (2011), when Streeter caught 46 balls for 811 yards. He's a project.

Quick in the second? No. He's a guy who produced against bad compeitition. Streeter? Eh. Didn't produce against good competition, but he's tall and fast and could fit our system. Hill's the same. Basically, they should be on the draft board, but there should be a lot of guys in front of them.

2 TDs against VaTech is bad competition?

Grrr...looked at his stats on ESPN and saw one catch for eight yards against the only major team they played. Too bad I didn't realize that they stopped counting App State's players' stats after 2008.

Let's chalk this one up to carelessness. I'll do a little more homework on him.
