Jordan Jefferson is one of the worst QBs I have ever watched. He has ZERO feel for the game, can't read a defense, can't shift the OL to pick up a blitz, is RIDICULOUSLY inaccurate and the fact that you would take him over Russell Wilson is one of the most embarassing things I've ever read on this board.

He has a big arm. He should be the project guy who can back up Cam long term. Not Russell Wilson. Jefferson has a big arm but as Mayock said accuracy is the problem. He played in the SEC, has size and athleticism. Sound familiar? We missed this guy as the best man to play "poor man's Cam" should someone be needed for that role.

NO!!!! This guy is more like a poor man's Vince Young mixed with a little JaMarcus Russell. he's not even in Cam's league as a passer or a runner!! if you want proof, watch the National title game. the offense was sluggish at best and he never moved the ball, he threw a shovel pass that was just badly thrown and the guy has major accuracy issues.

honestly, if we draft a project, backup QB i want one of four guys in this order....1) Aaron Corp (former USC backup)......2) Darron Thomas (decent size, dont love him, but he's a good backup)....3) Russell Wilson (cant stand that size, but a good backup) and 4) Jacory Harris. i said all year to an LSU fan i know personally that if LSU had a QB, they would win the National title easily.

he's not worth ANY pick, none!! i would take John Brantley over Jefferson if that's any indication of how bad i think Jefferson is. his reading of defenses is terriable. he's worth an unsigned look, but not a 7th round pick, not when you could have Corp, Harris, Brantley, Wilson, Thomas and others.

He's bad... very bad- I've seen him play several times. But my question to you SEC followers: How did he get a D-1 scholarship to a football powerhouse like LSU if he's that bad?

And if you're an LSU homer, what were you thinking when Les Myles (incredibly overrated) decided he was the starting QB?

Probably because he put up numbers in HS and he was an athlete.

(Not a LSU fan) Before the season I wasn't buying into the LSU hype mainly because of Jefferson. And when he got suspended, Lee stepped in and played very well. Lee used to be a joke too with all his pick 6s few years ago. But he played better than JJ this year and was surprised when Les didn't even attempt to put in Lee in the NCG. I will say this, Jefferson was a big reason LSU beat Bama the first game.
