I was taking Allegra but I complained to my GP about the cost. He gave me a Rx for Xyzal. It's probably the best 24 hr allergy med I've ever taken. Best of all my insurance covers it so I only have to pay $8/month.

The Xyzal made me a little tired for the first 3-4 days I was on it and that concerned me but that side effect has gone away completely. Overall I've not had any bothersome side effects. I sometimes forget to take it on the weekend and after not taking it I can really tell after the 2nd day. It really makes a world of a difference.
