i am assuming you missed the Va Tech, Clemson and Miami games.

He did register one sack in each of those games. One. The ACC is a sub-par college football conference. If this guy is going to be a top ten pick, he should have been dominating those teams. Miami, Va Tech, and Clemson were not that good this year. UNC by contrast was pretty bad.

Not that sacks are everything, but as a junior playing DT (much harder to get to the QB) he had 10 total sacks (excellent production).

As a senior he had 7.5 sacks. With 2 coming against James Madison and 2 against Duke.

You can't argue his production didn't fall as a senior, and I actually attended every UNC game this year, and watched all of them.

since you went to every game you should know he impacted the game beyond just sacks. pass protection slide to him, and he still had numerous pressures and TFL. acc is the same every year decent football, but not great. those teams were considered the best in the league with one playing in a bcs bowl game and he played pretty good vs that team. he is the best DL prospect in this draft.

rankings seem solid. only one i have an issue with is burfict as the second best ILB and that he'd be a first rounder. most likely 2nd or 3rd.

won't argue that too much, though.

DT rankings seems to be really in line with consensus at the combine where brockers, cox and still are the 1, 2, and 3.

I must admit I have been harsh on Coples in the past, part of that may of been because of Unc's struggles on the field. I agree he should of been more productive in terms of stats but the talent is there. If Hurney and crew were to draft him I feel confident that means they feel he is committed and feel he would put forth the necessary effort.
