And from the looks of it, the only thing that changed was that they removed the two stripes down each side of the helmet and replaced it with one ugly stripe going right down the middle, you know, like a helmet from the 70s.

Doubt this is the finished project, it just looks like they took a generic helmet and threw the Panthers logo. Another reason it may not be finished is because there are also two shades of gray on that helmet.

Hard to tell, but regardless, it looks OLDER than it did before because they removed the blue outline from the stripe that is visible as well.

It doesn't look sleek or clean, it looks old and outdated.

But apparently that's what they're going for because everyone and their mom on this board thinks anything different color-wise looks like an arena team... smh...

So that pretty much takes care of the suspense... I'll still like the logo update, just surprised they didn't take the opportunity to update the uniforms as well. I have to think the NFL/Nike is helping them with the costs to replace all the logos in the stadium.
