Need help with birthday present for 2 year old

Any cool things out there that 2 year old girl will like? I got my little niece 240 piece art set for Christmas and I don't think my sister was too happy about it. I just have no clue what toys little kids like to play with...

Go to the dollar store and just get a ton of crap. At that age quantity>quality and they only play with stuff for a day or two anyway.

A Baby doll. Most little girls that age like to play with baby dolls and pretend to be like mommy. If you get a doll make sure the body is soft. They usually come in a box with other baby doll related stuff like bottles, rattles, clothes, etc., you should be able to get a decent one for under $40.

Piece of advice for anyone that's giving presents out for an upcoming 1 year old. Go ahead and buy their lifetime sportsmen license/saltwater fishing license (yes...they are seperate now). No one remembers what you gave them at 1, but it's something they'll always have and well worth it. Cheap too.

My daughter is coming up on a year old, and she is getting this from my inlaws. A trike that changes as she grows.
