Backup QB - Brady Quinn?

ughh another stupid "should we get this guy" thread that makes no sense. Pretty sure we have derek anderson and I think we will draft russell wilson if he is still available in the 5th

Derek Anderson is an UNRESTRICTED FREE AGENT and is not guaranteed to be on next year's roster.

If we draft a project QB in the 5th, it would be one of the dumbest draft moves in the History of the Panthers....and that includes the AE pick. You already have a young stud QB. As a BU, you either get an aging vet or take a flyer on someone in the 7th or undrafted. We have WAY too many needs to take Russell Wilson in the 5th.

no, dont get him, in fact, as far as Notre Dame Qbs go, i think Clausen is better than Quinn is and is younger and has more potential. what we should do is go with what we have and use a later round pick on Aaron Corp.

now if we dont re-sign Anderson (which i dont se ehappening), then yes, we need another QB and then i would go after Dennis Dixon. Campbell and Garrard think they are better and should start, i think Dixon will realize tha the's not a starter, but would like to be a 2nd stringer.

I don't see any team jumping to pick up Anderson for anything other than a backup roll. If the team has any interest in keeping him around then he stays put.

campbell would be a solid pickup IMO, big body, strong arm & decent mobility plus he has alot of starts under his belt

Man he's really bad. Honestly. See a lot of him in Cleveland. Bad back up and pisses and moans all the time via the press. The good thing is he'll be made available I would bet.
