Question for people who have home alarm systems

Do you arm your security system when you're home?

I don't usually do it, but my security guy said that I should especially when I'm home.I don't live in a bad neighborhood or anything.

i rarely even lock my door. but i don't have a security system...

I always have it on when I go night night but not during a day time. I don't wanna be caught napping if bad boys decide to show up on the middle of a night.

Mine patrols the backyard during the day. Half Chow Half Lab with attitude of Chow and size of Lab. Works for Kibble and stays downstairs at night.

I never have mine on during the day, but you see in all the commercials that people are saved by keeping it on in the daytime. I'd be afraid of accidentally setting it off all the time to be honest. So I only arm it when I leave and when I'm going to bed. But I see what they mean about the safety stuff.

ALWAYS set mine at night.....will give me enough time to get the real protection from the gun safe.

Rarely set it when we leave the house.

If someone breaks in while I am not home, I have insurance to replace everything.

I have the alarm for my and my family's safety more than protecting my belongings.

Good Idea to get the alarm if your out traveling alot

I only arm it at night.

Nobody really at home during the day, don't care about "stuff", just my peoples.

Along with a variety of pistols, rifles and shotguns this is always loaded...

And yeah we turn on the alarm system.
