From Cam to RG111 psychology of draft analysis

The selective bias was especially troubling because it happened at the same time so many were praising the game intelligence of TCU's Andy Dalton, who played his entire collegiate career in a single-read spread not unlike the one Newton thrived in at Auburn. Look at a picture of Newton next to Dalton and it isn't tough to figure out where that came from.

Wait? Are these people suggesting people like GritsRGreat are flaming racists?!

Yeah, I stopped reading there.

People who can't imagine that someone can do things differently and still be successful are guilty of some serious close-mindedness, whatever it stems from.

Doug Farrar is Cam's biggest champion specifically because of how cheated he felt when Cam exploded out of the gate when all of his compatriots in the media made it seem he was doomed to failure. It pissed him off and he takes digs everytime Cam come sup now because of it.

another thread on this topic?

thanks.

won't be too long before this forum is the tinderbox2.

would be great to have discussions about football without having it turn into some racial/social discussion.

People made this bed during pre draft last year, be upset with them we have to sleep in it now. Their actions are COSTLY. They made it hard for the fans, analysts, media who follow them. Theyve made it a lot harder for future QBs. No longer will people easily accept their hype. They were too selfish to think about that though. All for the sake of annointing one unproven QB who didnt even want to be here. I hope it was worth it.
