i don't know that it has much to do with "not being cut out" for the job. he's no longer cut out for normal life.

Not putting him down at all. I was a firefighter and you could see that it bothers some more than others.

Some people would take it home with them. and others would shrug it off as just part of life. Not everyone could do that.

Pulling a human out of a burning house thinking you have saved thier life, only to find out they are burnt up where you couldn't see...

Some soldiers (and firefighters) put what they have seen in a little box in the back of their minds, and others carry it with them forever.

fuging tragic.

And what really makes it unbearable is that the war was a sham forced onto the American people.

It was never necessary and has only made us less safe, with a devastating human price tag.

Shame on Bush and Shame on the doctrine of "pre-emptive war" :patriot:

Fair enough... I misunderstood you. I don't have any first hand experience in these things but ive watched a few friends and family members suffer for decades because they refused to get help because they didnt understand it and thought they ould just tough it out. Horrible stuff.

Scott is comforted by a friend during an argument with his girlfriend over the phone. Sitting on the bed, he started crying. He said the anxiety he experienced that day was brought on by her moving all of her belongings out. Scott said she also took his anti-anxiety and sleep medication. "I’m not going to be able to sleep tonight -– I’m not going to get over this panic attack.”
