It's just so weird. I had been informed that Rivera was completely fine with our DT's as is because he said so in his interview back in Week 10.

What's Rivera going to say? They suck? A lot of coaches always try not to place blame on players if they aren't playing well. I think that was just coach speak to the media. Otherwise, Rivera is quite a crap coach if he was actually content with the DT play.

Brockers would be an excellent choice if we are willing to develop him and let him improve like we did with Johnson. He has excellent potential but is pretty raw. Given he is only a sophomore he has a lot to learn and needs to continue to develop into his NFL adult body. But given how good he is at this point with as little playing experience, he is only going to be better. Will he come in and start right away. Probably not. But he will be a beast in a couple of years. Anyone who knows anything about football can easily see that.

As it's been well stated, he went to LSU as a LB. He has the frame to add weight this offseason and I think he could contribute immediately.
