You are the Casting Agent!

I read on-line Variety magazine. It had open casting calls, what going on in Hollywood, etc. (I know several wannabe actors/actresses.) Even my Workers Comp Lawyer can get his SAG card now after being in 2 movies!)

So for about 2 years now there has been a script floating around Hollywood. Given the lack of success of the last several TV shows turned movies, it may never get made.

But it got me thinking.

Who would I cast as the characters?

The first one to me came easy. The rest I have no idea.

The movie is Magnum PI!

For the part of Thomas Magnum, I'd cast Hugh Jackman!

You need a suave and tough, but not too tough that he wins every fight,

ladies man. And Jackman can do an American accent.

But who do you cast as Rick, TC and Higgins?

Rick, you need a gangster/casino owner Boggie type, but younger.

TC, You need a you African-American, tough chopper pilot.

And of course, Jonathan Quayle Higgins, has to be an English, kind of stodgier older actor. Maybe John Cleese?

Rick - Bradley Cooper

TC - Terry Crews

Higgins - John Cleese

I think Hugh Jackman is too much of a bad ass for Magnum. Couldn't really think of anyone other than Ryan Reynolds.
