Rentors...how much is your rent?

I have a friend who lives in the city, around 82nd street and 2nd...one bedroom, no elevator, fourth floor. I think she pays around 2000 a month. I'd estimate it at around 6-800 sf.

Downtown Brooklyn. The rent is high because it's a "luxury building". This place in the city would run me $5000 a month! Insane. I'll be moving to a neighborhood brownstone when my lease is up, although the perks sure are nice in this place. I had a three-story condo in uptown Charlotte last year that ran $1250 a month hahaha. Silly New York and their nutty ass prices. But... it's NYC. I can't complain too much. Love it here.

Nice digs man. I love Brooklyn but am usually around Flatbush and the shore. Never really been downtown Brooklyn, except riding by on the beltway.

I'm in the middle of a "life transition" and am currently staying with a friend/coworker until I can unload my old house and buy something of my own on the other side of town.

Paying $300 to stay in a 3 bedroom 2 1/2 bath almost brand new about 2,000 sq ft. Really nice set up and I was paying $400 but he lowered it to $300 because he said it is like living with Charlie Sheen and entertainment like that shouldn't come free. I didn't argue. :D
