I want to see him traded. If he plays under the tag this season, the Panthers are truly an injury away from losing the entire season. We have zero depth on the OL, zero depth on the DL, and zero depth at CB.

We will draft some mid round talent, but will be very exposed this season.

Even if Peppers plays well, an injury on the OL, CB, or DL would end the season.

I am starting to think the Pantehrs would be a better team without Pep (if we added 4-5 mid tier FA's), than if we had no depth and Peppers on the DL.

I think we grab Ken Lucas after the draft at a reduced price, so our CB class is not as thin as it appears.

About 2 weeks ago, we heard that he had not signed his contract.

Do we know that the same situation exists today? Are the Panthers obligated to tell us if he has signed?

I say he goes on draft day and the Panthers already have one or more suitors waiting.

It might depend on how far Sanchez falls or if Stafford falls out of the top 5. The domino effect will determine where we send him.
