Had anyone been more clutch this year? He's had great hands and awareness this season and seems to make the big catch when it counts. I don't know where to find the stats but I'd put my money on him converting more 3rd and longs than any other receiver on the team. He get's my clutch pick. I also think he deserves the #2 spot going into next year. I love Gettis but Lafell is just on fire.

No doubt, LaFell has been money and the primary reason why I don't think that we need to go after a WR in the draft. He (LaFell) should automatically be our #2.

Yeah, i pretty much believe that we are set at receivers and tight ends. Lafell stepped up big time this year and I do believe that we are set for the next few years.

You can't watch that highlight tape and tell me LaFell doesn't look very promising. His blocking ability doesn't hurt either. I haven't been this excited about our receiving core and TEs going into a season for a long time. Once Cam builds his relationship with 11 & 12 watch out.

Brandon has shown me that he has the potential to be starting caliber WR. He needs to take that next step and actually become a starting caliber WR. I am under the impression that the staff is proud of how he played, practiced, and never gave in.

He has earned his shot at winning that #2 WR. It is up to him on how he reacts to this opportunity.
