How many players that you wanted...

Julius Peppers and Dwayne Jarrett.

2003: I wanted Byron Leftwich over Jordan Gross

2004: There is nothing I wanted more then the Panthers staying at 31 and drafting Ben Troupe instead of trading up and getting Gamble.

2005: I was praying Troy Williamson would drop to us. Then I felt sick to my stomach when we drafted Thomas Davis over Derrick Johnson.

2006: I thought LenDale White was the PERFECT compliment to DeAngelo Williams.

2007: Could not have been more pissed the Panthers traded down when they had the perfect opportunity to draft Reggie Nelson or Brandon Merriweather. I hated the Beason pick.

2008: Wanted Ryan Clady over Jonathan Stewart and Mendenhall over Otah. I still believe that would have happened if Broncos didn't take Clady right before us.

2009: Was very excited and was convinced we were going to draft Jarron Gilbert.

2010: Did not want Clausen and was extremely high on Taylor Price. Was pissed we did not draft him in the second.

2011: I was for everyone but Cam. Could not decide between PP7 and AJ Green.

Looking back to all the drafts since Julius, I could not have been more off. Thank god I am not in control of the draft because I have been off literally every year. This year I am high on both Morris Claiborne and Janoris Jenkins, which probably means we should stay away from both.

    • Saints and Seahawks both making a push for Cooper Kupp The Rams receiver has at least two teams that are very interested in signing him. According to The Athletic, the Seahawks and Saints are both making a push to sign Kupp. The Seahawks could certainly use another receiver after trading DK Metcalf and cutting Tyler Lockett. As for the Saints, they don't have a ton of salary cap space, so it will be interesting to see if they can meet Kupp's asking price, which is apparently around $13 million or $14 million per year.
    • The intent behind the question wasn’t bad, it’s just how he framed the question was kinda goofy. I’m surprised people like him can do media professionally when they aren’t good public speakers. I wonder what he gets paid to do this.
    • Running back Kareem Hunt is returning to the Kansas City Chiefs on a one-year contract worth up to $2.5 million, a source told ESPN's Jeremy Fowler on Friday.   He returns to a backfield led by Isiah Pacheco that also added former San Francisco 49ers running back Elijah Mitchell this week.   Hunt, 29, joined the Chiefs for his second tour with the team early in the 2024 season after they placed Isiah Pacheco on the injured reserve list. Hunt led the Chiefs in rushing with 728 yards and seven touchdowns. He also rushed for 117 yards and two touchdowns in three postseason games.
