Where does Cam rank amoung NFL QB's

Cam is the 11th best QB in the league.

Brees has also thrown like 3200 passes in the last 5 years... That's an absurd number of passes, so he'd probably have the most interceptions in the last 5 years. He had like 150 more passes than Cam last year, so it's no surprise he threw more interceptions.

Even in Brees' worst year, last year, his INT-per-pass ratio was close to Cam's this year, so meh, but his career numbers are a far cry lower. Cam will get better, but it's okay to admit he did have a slight turnover problem as a rookie in some of our games. I don't know if Cam deserves to be #6 in a list of top 10 NFL QBs, but I could buy that he had the 6th best performance last year overall.

No doubt Cam had a little turnover problem during his rookie year. The young man is still getting the hang of the game. To be honest, I'm excited that he only had 17 interceptions. For a rook to throw for 4k yards, part of me thought he may finish the season with 25+ Interceptions.

I look at it like this. In '10, Brees had +11 more total TDs than interceptions. In '11, an amazing year.. Brees had +33 more total TDs than interceptions. Cam had +18 more TDs than interceptions in 2011.

I think six is fair. If Cam had another weapon at WR he could be up there. Cam in year two is going to change the way we look at QB's

If you were a GM, and you had to build a team from scratch... If you would choose Stafford over Newton, then you would be an idiot.

Take away Megatron, and Stafford would be average.

I would actually rank Cam #5 in barely in front of Rothlisberger, even with his rings.

Stafford had 3300 yards and 25 TDs not to Calvin. He is plenty capable of hitting other targets. There is no evidence to say he wouldn't still be a good QB without Calvin.

3300 yards and 25 TDs, not including your #1 receiver, isn't really average at all.

Stafford is pretty good. Megatron is great though and makes him look better.

Then again, do you guys really think Smitty didn't make Cam look a little better at times? That's not to say Cam didn't have a great season, but the job of a #1 receiver is to be that go-to guy. Can't really decide a QB is average just because he's good at feeding his stud.
