We sign Mario Williams, Erin Henderson, and Michael Huff. Then we draft Michael Brockers with our first pick. I'm telling you guys we would have the best defense in the league with this cast.

We got get some bodies on the line. Shirley and Kearse did a good job at the end of the year but we can't bet on them.

Kearse was a rookie and has a lot of room to grow, makes no sense for him not to come back. he could be pushing for the starting NT spot with Fua and Edwards.

Kearse, Shirley, Fua, McClain and Edwards? All these guys grew this season. I like Brocker but would rather give the young guys we have time to grow. I don't think Brocker or any rookie DT is going to solve our problems on the line. I give the experience factor a notch above the 1st round rookie.

We have no first round talent on the d-line. That does not usually fair well, even with all the draft busts.

Arguably our best DT Kris Jenkins was a 2nd rounder. Brocker has an upside but also has to grow into the position. We already have 4 players that need to grow into the position. Peppers was solid but part time. Unless the rookie is like Suh, you probably aren't going to get a better performance over a good player with experience. I will bet we go FA or what we have at DT.

I just had a brain surge of an idea.:idea: I've read a couple of days ago on here that some were now comparing Charles Johnson to Mike Rucker. So I thought to myself (of course we all know we overpayed him) 'We just gave Mike Rucker a 72 million dollar contract?'. Then I once again started thinking about Mario Williams, as he would be a prized free agent. Again I said to myself 'If we went to CJ and told him about the idea of playing with Mario, would he consider restructuring his contract to reel MW in?'

You see I'm confident that if management really wanted Mario, they could bring him in, yet the ability of getting other decent free agents would be hampered. If CJ could restructure his contract, we could bring in Mario, and bring in other guys.
