Linsanity

They shouldn't keep a player on a team just because fans like him nor should they keep a player on a team because he's racially similar to some of the locals.

Lin ended up being a star but the Warriors and Rockets made the best decision for their franchises at the time. If they forever kept Asian and Latino players just to please locals, they'd struggle to compete when other teams are assessing players bast on talent alone.

No they should have kept him because he has good vision, driving ability, and a quick jumpshot. Being a popular asian in a largely asian market would have been a bonus.

The real reason why Jeremy had a career high in turnovers is because NOLA was wearing those distracting, clown uniforms.:D Yet seriously, I believe once Melo comes back, the Knicks will be a great team.

New Orleans should be fined for those uniforms!

NEW YORK - Sports network ESPN apologized on Saturday for an anti-Asian slur that appeared with a story about New York Knicks star point guard Jeremy Lin published on one of its websites overnight.

The headline — "***** in the Armor" — accompanied an online analysis that blamed Lin, a Chinese-American, for the Knick's surprising 89-85 loss to the New Orleans Hornets at a sold-out Madison Square Garden on Friday night.

I guess espn was getting jealous with their own coverage of "linsanity" and wanted some press of their own....

Still too many turnovers, but he's the real deal. Once he gets his turnover problem figured out, and he will get it figured out, he'll be up there with the Chris Paul's and Derrick Rose's of the game. I can't stand the Knicks, but when they get Melo back, this team has a chance to do some good things in the playoffs.
