Draft Day Trade Possibility with Denver

I would definitely do the trade without a doubt. Maybe with our #8/9 pick Trent Richardson would fall to us. But yeah, as much as I love Stew, if for whatever you could get a first rounder for him, that is a no brainer.

Why on earth would you do that? Trade a lower 1st for a proven beast and take an unproven one in the top 10. 1st round RB's are so overvalued. Even Stew wasn't worth a 1st really.

Absolutely but my ? is when is the last time a RB was traded for a 1st round pick?

That is a great question I don't know the answer to that one, but if you are Denver and there is not a player you are crazy about at your pick ,and all draft picks are unproven anyone could be a bust it would make sense to trade for a young proven starter in this league at a position of need for your team.

i would keep who we have and build around the strengths that exist. (not saying that they should be the focal points, btw, just build everything else up to that level of talent).

I would agree with you except for one thing, we screwed up in who we gave the new contract to. I neither see them or want to see them give two monster contracts to RB in a league, and even our own O, leaning more to the pass. I would take a 1st in a heart beat. Then we could get Decastro with our pick and maybe Brockers will be there with the other 1st. But like I said RBs don't bring 1st rounders on the market. 2nd at best.
