which combo would you pick??

Here's another way of looking at how we should address our needs through the draft. Just pretend we could trade our 1st 2 picks for any combo listed below. Seems most on here would want a DT,DE,CB,T with our first 2 picks so I'll throw up some different combos for you guys.

The names come from this years AP All Pro players

I did not do 2 corners or 2 defensive ends since we already Have Johnson and Gamble.

If you choose a combo without a DT then our starters will likely be Ron Edwards and Fua/Mcclain/Neblett.

If you choose a combo without CB, then Gamble and Munnerlyn likely start.

If you Choose a combo without DE, then Johnson and Hardy start again.

My vote and why: Revis and Allen

I think once we get back our injured players and Fua/Mcclain/Neblett have another offseason they should improve and be sufficient with a strong supportng cast.

Picking up Allen will provide an all around upgrade over Hardy. Remember when teams ran at Hardy they averaged 5.62 ypc. For comparison they averaged 4.53 ypc up the middle. He would also obviosuly be a better pass rusher.

Revis replacing Munnerlyn would be amazing. We all know Munnerlyn's deficiencies and Revis' strengths so no need to elaborate here.

Some have mentioned they wouldn't mind go DT in the first and 2nd..so I made 2 DT's an option.

Revis and Ngata, and it's not even close. I'd give up our first two picks just for Ngata though :) Hell I'd give up our first three.

Ngata and Allen. Improve the line to the point where it doesn't matter who plays corner. Plus I think between Hogan and Butler we can be ok at corner if our dline is upgraded.
