Brees growing 'frustrated' over contract

Say what you want about overpaying for Deangelo or Charles Johnson, but the Panthers proved they watch after their own. This bodes well with bringing in free agents and making the Panthers a more appealing destination.

The fact that the Saints are horribly mishandling Drew Brees (literally their savior who single-handedly saved their franchise), makes me proud to be a Panther. Drew Brees is a class-act and a hell of a football player. Pay the damn man Saints....or don't and send your team back into oblivion.

yep. very good point.

looks like the panthers are the more loyal team to key players. it might hurt us, but it's worth it because you get that loyalty back and makes the panthers look like a team you'd want to play for.

Why do they keep dragging Drew into this?

Schefter's tweet should read "Saints and Condon remain well apart in their efforts to produce a long-term contract."

I suspect they already have a deal and it's just a matter of when to report it.

Again, I think they're waiting for the salary cap to be announced. In Loomis I trust.

Denial

i wouldn't expect anything less.

i guess if after my team had gone 40+ years of being irrelevant (most of it with bags on our heads) and then had a hurricane come and rape our toilet bowl of a community and then we lucked out and got a great QB and a coach who was able to stay sober enough to make a great offense happen and hired a DC who talked their players into taking late hits and cheap shots along with a good deal of sympathy from the league for the crap they endured that caused them to turn a blind eye to really douchey play from their defense and then they managed to win a superbowl i'm sure i would feel the same way.

btw...i'm rather proud of that run on sentence. top that.
