ok, saying he was really highly rated coming out of college is BS. He was a 5th round draft pick with a history of being slow and getting concussions. I hope he turns in to a good back up and great special teamer, but lets make sure we know how truly "highly rated" he was.

He is a decent backup and special teamer who we want to develop. Is he the answer if Davis goes down again? Probably not, but I suspect we will sign a couple of guys for depth going into camp and see who ends up overachieving. These are the kind of signings you will see, instead of big names so you might want to get used to it.

Just saying.......

he sucks in coverage...

and led the team in forced fumbles, is possibly our best STer, didn't miss tackles, playmaker, etc.

allowing your man to catch a screen pass doesn't mean you suck in coverage (since PFF counts a screen as a completion against you - completely moronic; they also say you suck when your D is playing prevent so the whole point is to allow the catch to be made, just don't let them score) even though he's definitely no TD or beason. which is why he'd be a backup and STer.

Not complaining, just saying why are we re-signing a LB who only played three games this season and made 4 tackles.

4 tackles in 3 games is like a 1.33333333333333333333333333333333333333 tackle per game average. Don't hate.
