So someone gets paid to sit and watch Sportscenter and put a tick mark down every time a name is mentioned, and then count them up ad make a cute graphic about it. How freaking boring would that job be. Or you would have to be one OCD mf'er.

You can blame the player. The Golden Calf of Bristol is Christian. He also knows that Christians love other Christians and will buy his shirts and hats and jerseys and follow his every word. The Golden Calf of Bristol makes an effort put his faith in the spotlight, rallying Christians and forcing the media to focus on him.

If he was one of another thousand Christian football players whom worshiped on their own but didn't shove it down everybody's throat, he'd have average jersey sales and just get talked about a bit on ESPN.

Peyton Manning doesn't even take a snap in 2011 and still comes in 3rd. No wonder he's 4 time NFL MVP!

I still think he should have won the MVP in 2011. :D
