OR:

Hate the people that drive the ratings to make the network dedicate so much airtime to him, not the network.

this. I used to watch First Take every morning. Once the Skip/The Golden Calf of Bristol train started rolling, I haven't watched it since unless I hear there will be a Panthers related segment on.

It's funny that someone questioned where the stats for this came from... because they probably came out of someones ass, although I'd believe The Golden Calf of Bristol is mentioned the most, but a monkey could tell you that.

I didn't realize stats were only kept in multiples of 10. Learn something new every day.

So does Rosie O'Donnell. So what? A lot of crap is still crap.

If you all wouldn't constantly bitch about him, he wouldn't be talked about on here hardly at all. If every other message board other than Denver's followed suit, ESPN wouldn't use as much air time on him as he wouldn't be a trending topic. But no, you guys bring him up all the time (albeit negatively) and it registers. You only have yourselves to blame.

Edit - Proof: Just go click on the Underhyped Cam thread. After the OP's initial post, the next three all mention The Golden Calf of Bristol.

In their defense, it does say "about". People have kept stats on weirder things, too.

It's amazing how much time people who say they are tired of hearing about The Golden Calf of Bristol spend talking about him.
