5. Super Smash Brothers

4. Battlefield series

3. Alien Versus Predator II

2. Deus Ex

1. The Legend of Zelda, Ocarina of Time

Really it's Zelda, Deus Ex, and then 8 other games to fill out my top 10. Deus Ex was probably the single deepest gameplay experience I've ever...experienced (fug, I need a thesaurus). It was way deeper than I ever thought a game from that period could be.

But Zelda stands alone. It was years ahead of it's time. The graphics haven't even aged that badly. It's endlessly replayable, I still play the ROM now, and after I finish the 3 hour "campaign" mode on most games, I usually play it again. My kids will play the ROM and I will talk shiz about their games like our parents talk about contemporary music.

3. Legend of Zelda OoT

4. Metal Gear Solid 4

5. Jet Grind Radio (love the art style, concept, everything about it)

6. Unreal Tournament

7. Diablo (love the whole series, but for these purposes Diablo II)

8. Xenogears

9. Battlefield 3 (for multi player)

Ok, thought I had posted my top 10 in here but upon further review, nope i didn't

So here we go (cue drum role)

10) TES: Oblivion (Xbox 360)

any game that can make me ask "now were the fug did the last 6 months of my life go?" deserves a top 10 spot, it's my first experience with a fully immersive RPG and boy what first.

9) Golden Eye (N64)

First FPS I ever played and still probably one of the best, love that game

8) Final Fantasy X (PS2)

Always been a Final Fantasy fan and this one was probably the last great one of the franchise, hopefully another great one will come along at some point but right now Square-Enix has me wondering.

7) Ninja Gaiden Black (xbox)

Hardest yet one of the most satisfying games I've ever played, I do enjoy a good challenge from time to time and this one was definitely that.

6)Pokemon (gameboy-gameboy advanced)

Go ahead laugh all you want but any game that can get me to sink 600 hours into it and still not be bored is good in my book

5)The Mass Effect Trilogy (Xbox 360)

I count this trilogy as a single game because it is, one massive game from beginning to end, the best new Sci-Fi universe since Star Wars, had the original ending been better I would have ranked this game high. but with a gaff like that it drops on my list.

4) Halo (xbox)

This game is the reason I bought an xbox, and still do today.

3) Mario 64 (N64)

truly a monument to the way Nintendo was just way ahead of everyone in the video game industry at the time and to an extent they still are today

2) The Legend of Zelda: OoT

Hands down one of the all time greats, it had everything and was so imaginative it's truly a wonder that none of the other Zelda's since have been able to match the greatness of this game

1) Final Fantasy VII (PS)

This is the first game that actually got me emotionally attached to characters in a game, this game was so ground breaking in so many ways it just has to be here.
