It's Butch's doing. To collect the almost $1.7 million he is still owed from UNC, he can't accept a coaching position. As long as he is advising, and not actually coaching, then he can continue to draw two pay checks.

Exactly...teams don't want to spend time scrambling for position coaches when they need to be focused on draft prospects, free agents and player personnel decisions.
