Resident Village Idiot KC Joyner thinks RG3 > Cam

Those circumstantial edges point toward Griffin being able to get out of the pro football gate quicker than Newton, and that could be augmented if he ends up with a team that will give him the same level of commitment Newton received from the Carolina Panthers last year.

This is stupid, because it also applies to 95% of rookie QBs who came before Newton, whose records he just SHATTERED. They all should have been able to get out of the gate quicker than Newton, but none of them did. Also using Cam's college stats and comparing them to RG3s isn't productive because Cam had far from the most prolific college passing season ever. If Cam had broken NCAA records, then RG3 broke Cam's records the next year, the guy might have a point.

Also, Cam benefited from the defenses in the NFL being way behind the offense at the beginning of the year. I don't think we will see a year with this kind of passing again for a long time.

Does this mean were gonna have 25 million Cam v. Dalton, Cam v. The Golden Calf of Bristol, Cam, v. Luck and Cam v. RG3 threads to wade through this year?.....oh joy...

Apparently it's Cam against the WORLD. It seems like fans and the media are developing all these stupid rivalries. I guess that's what happens when your QB sets a new standard

He hasn't even played an NFL down yet.....

Yeah...fine if RG3 or Luck come out and have a better rookie season than Cam. Just means a lot of good rivalries and better teams in the NFL. But since Cam's rookie season was a one of a kind season, I can't see anther QB beating it so soon or ever.
