Yeah I think he will be a good corner. He seems very physical and I think he will be able to help in run support. But he does seem to try for the home run a lot and will put himself in bad position. I do like a guy who will jump a route and get the interception but we all know that jumping a route will get you burned or leave someone wide open.

Pick your poison I guess. All in all he should be a solid corner for years to come.

he could be great he could also about kill us in some games, he was our most willing DB as far as jumping a route for a INT goes, but the bad side to that is he will also jump a route causing more chances for a deep shot down field, but as the saying goes, nothing ventured nothing gained.

meeks made jason david look good i think he work wonders with marshall

hopefully marshall's regression this year wasn't anything we need to worry about, I'm interested to see how godrey will perform as well with a second year of experience

I've also decided that Alphonso Smith is my guy, if we draft a corner i hope it's him

For a reason Marshall is a real good corner when he is defending the side line but not so when he is covering the slot receiver....

In his rookie when he subing in Nickel package, Gamble always handle the slot guy...Now because he is replacing Lucas I at the side line I think he is going to have a decent year....

All the plays that are remember from last year that he has beaten was in the middle of the field. The reason may be was size, athletism, it was like 2 cm more and he would deflect the pass...

Marshall can be very good. Alot of how his play went last year depended on the safeties' play and there was a rookie back there. If he starts, he'd better be prepared for a ton of balls thrown his way. :o I hope Meeks & crew can successfully teach him more of the basics and how to better read the offenses, IMO that's what he's missing. To use his speed to his advantage.

But remember that Gamble played the same way in his first 2 years, going for the interception more often than he probably should have, getting burned alot. Now he's as solid as on oak door. :)

I just hope they find another speedster willing to give up his body to make the stop to replace him on ST.

Marshall has great speed but isn't really anything to fear for throwing the ball in his direction. I'd rather throw at him then Gamble for sure.

Guess the starting role will be the ultimate test to how he can translate on the field, seemed like he had good stamina, acceleration, and a decent jam off the line when I seen him. He's not as good as Aqib Talib but he's a upgrade from Ken Lucas for sure.
