Odds to win SB XLVII

Carolina- 50/1

Indianapolis also more favored to win XLVII than we are, funny stuff

Want to know how silly these odds are? Every year the Pats were ranked as the number one team to make it to the SB and the Gaints were rank further down the list. How funny that the last time the Pats were in the SB until this year, was the last time the Giants were in the SB.

Wouldn't be surprised if they have the Colts making the SB before the Panthers with Luck under center. Especially since they already placed him in the HOF and he hasn't even played one game in the NFL.

If I heard correctly I think the Giants opened at 100/1 odds to win the Superbowl this past year. Seems like that was a bit high but I can't be sure.

With that said...I am going to Vegas in about 3 weeks so if anyone wants to place a bet, feel free Paypal me the money and I will happy to spend it on.....I mean place a wager for you.

    • King Tet talking to Jaycee already. McMillan, shortly after he was drafted, was asked which NFL cornerback he wants to "Moss" most. His answer was an intriguing one. • It is probably harder to justify taking plays off in a draft where you are drafted six picks after a freak of nature--How Hunter did it is beyond me--and in Colorado of all places!  WRs run sprint after sprint.  Arizona was playing from behind a lot and that means pass every play.  I get it.
    • I'll give you the Etienne pick to make up for Brooks, but I think you're looking at the T-Mac/XL picks wrong. Taking T-Mac wasn't "covering" the mistake of the other picks, it was "fixing" the XL pick. We took XL there because we expected him to be our new #1, but it just seems clear after his rookie year that he's never going to be THAT type of guy, even if he improves significantly.  But he does seem like he has that high end #2 potential, and that's where the T-Mac pick makes it "fixing" the pick and not "covering" for a bad one. The T-Mac pick pushes all the other WR's down a peg in the pecking order, and in turn, that makes them all that much better as they'll now be going up against a DB one more peg down on their own pecking order. XL and Coker don't have have a 1/2 pairing potential, but they both could be at the very upper end of the 2's and 3's out there, it totally changes the equation for who they are for us.
