Panther's #1Fan Mock Draft

Here is what I think would be the best possible draft for our Carolina Panthers

Rd1) Melvin Ingram, DE, South Carolina

I know it may be different, but we desperately need to improve our pass rush really helps the secondary helps hide whatever flaws we currently have back there until we can find and develop some corners. Get the qb on the ground he cant throw it from there etc...

Rd2) Kelechi Osemele, OT/G, Iowa State

Probably the most versatile ol in the draft can play any position on the line ,but center has played LT this entire year and was dominant

Rd4) Donnie Fletcher, CB, Boston College

6'0 200 lb corner with great coverage skills that could challenge Cap day 1 or transition to fs whichever is needed

Rd5) Nigel Bradham, OLB, Florida State

Great athletic linebacker that can cover wlb prototype can challenge a gimpy T.D. day 1 led FSU in tackles 3years in a row

Rd6) Philip Lutzenkirchen, TE, Auburn

Just in case we don't bring Shock back this would be a great insurance pick for Barnidge that is still yet to prove himself. Lutzenkirchen is uderated has sneaky speed and dependable Hands as well as a good blocker and is familiar with Cam probably his favorite target in college

Rd7) T.J. Graham, WR, North Carolina State

Good special teamer and underated with 757 yards and 7 touchdowns this year with a mediocre qb in my opinion

I did not pickup a dt because we are stacked at the position and have a lot of youth there would like to see onè more year with the group or bring in another veteran rather than get younger.Brokers is extremely over hyped is too raw to be considered a top 10 pick he should have stayed in school in my opinion.

I like the idea of having another Charles Johnson opposite Charles Johnson and picking up an OL but I think we have to go corner on the second pick unless we wait for Trumaine in the 4th and he may not be there. Plus Schwartz is available in 6. I think the TE is returning for his senior season but I think we retain Shockey this yr and next year we can look to that postion. TJ is an absolute steal in the 7th.. He has the speed to stretch the field and can return punts and kicks alongside Pilares. I like the draft. But if Coples was available I say we take him but if we do trade down and Ingram is there we should snag him because his motor is ridiculously high and plays hard every down. Overall, good mock. I would give a B+ glad u didnt have us take a punter..cuz we can get a udfa

Why not?

I think the first round pick is a reach and is not a real good fit for the scheme. There is very low potential of him being an immediate impact . Then we go to the second round where we pick a guy that is probably worthy of the position but coupled with the first round pick it seems weak. End result is that neither of the two picks address a huge need and neither can make a big splash.

Dont get me wrong, I think both guys can be good but I dont think that is the way we should go.

Also don't know if the TE is right.

But its refreshing to see someone go in a good direction if for nothing else a good difference of opinion. I also like waiting for UDFA to get a washed up soccer player.

Ingram isn't even 6'2 he is a 3-4 olb and we pick way to high for him it would be a hue reach.

He can play a olb in a 3-4 exactly but he has played dt and de for the most part at SC most olb are de's just standing up Ingram will be a top 11 pick believe it or not both of th first two picks would be starters on this team no doubt about it

I don't like tweeners, especially in the first round.

I also don't like role players in the top 10. I want an every down. I love his energy and burst, but I really think he's best suited for a Von Miller/Clay Mathews type role and we just don't use 3-4 looks enough to justify it.

Not a fan of any OL in the top two rounds unless Kalil should fall, which he won't. We have a very good OL now and are bringing a couple of quality starters back from IR.

We are far from stacked at DT. The giants are a team that's stacked at DT. They just pressured Brady well enough to keep the pats under 20 and they didn't even have marvin austin in the rotation which is scary, especially since brady plays behind one of the best lines in football.

Also your brockers comment is so very very wrong. So essentially, he's not good enough this year that he should stay in school, but if he's overhyped that means if he returns he shouldn't progress as a player. Here we have an opportunity to draft a guy whom would very likely raise his stock if he stayed for his junior season, which would require a higher pick, and you think he's not worth investing in with a lower pick because he's too raw? poo if i'm ron rivera i'm drafting a guy who looks as good as he does playing raw.
