If your wife a sucky day at her job and some rival of her's was like "your wife sucks blah blah blah" what would you say?

fans were following a player's wife who had nothing to do with the game and heckling her.

How is this acceptable? How his wife the main focus? Those guys Should have their asses kicked!

I agree that heckling a player's wife is an extremely lame thing to do, and I also get her standing up for her husband, but it would have been better for her to have kept her mouth shut than to degrade his teammates.

I'm sure the media is gonna blow it up, but I can appreciate her remarks. At least she takes her husband's job seriously, not like probably 90% of the other wives who only take it as serious as a paycheck. I say bravo zulu, Gisele.

Well she makes more than him anyhow.

more dirt - well it is off season and this is sort of football related

A veteran team staffer said: “Gisele may have had a point, but she should have left it to the sportswriters and other Monday morning quarterbacks. . . . She already is not liked by many players and their wives due to her arrogant attitude. . . . This sure won’t help improve things.”

Proof of that came from the wife of a Brady teammate who told me Monday, “Gisele has very few friends among the wives. Of course, many are jealous of her looks and all that, but she doesn’t make it easy to like her — since she obviously feels so superior to all of us.”

† Another source — close to a lot of the Patriots’ wives — told me, “Gisele is . . . so stuck up and treats them all like yahoos. . . . In many cases, the other wives are not all that sophisticated, but Gisele has been openly snotty to several of them — making cracks about how they dress and use too much makeup. Stuff like that.”

Apparently, when Brady himself heard about his wife’s crack, he hit the ceiling — realizing how awkward that comment would make it for him to deal with his fellow Patriots.

    • Also, while the discussion is fun, I'm going to ask the original question in the OP again as nobody has mentioned one way or the other if they know..... Are they selling these in the team store yet? The timing of when these will start to ship out is really the only thing keeping me from putting my order in yet.  If I'll get it in a month or less, I'm ordering it now, if it's going to be a while, I'm going to wait to see if they offer the blue and/or the better version of them.
    • I'm not sure Hunter is some super conditioned athlete that stands out among professionals.  I think he was afforded opportunity that just doesn't happen in football.  That's the most unique aspect.  He plays relatively light contact positions.  I mean, I might wager there are tons trash players on MLS rosters better conditioned than Hunter.  but I also saw Travis Hunter get absolutely cooked late in a couple games.   That's why I don't think he can play both ways in the NFL.   It was largely a sideshow IMO at Colorado.  If you are getting cooked late in games because you are tired at Colorado......you can't pull it off in the NFL outside of some situational package.
    • Yeah but our recent history is probably less than a 20% "panning out" rate on Rounds 1-3. I am firmly in the prove it stage as far as that goes. Don't get me wrong, I like some of the guys we drafted a lot but I still need to see them develop and produce.
