Maybe they should have Carrie Underwood do the next one. Great voice, young and easy on the eyes. She has the American Idol thing going for to bring in viewers. She is highly unlikely to give the crowd the finger. And it would be kind of cool for her to be able to say she made it to the Superbowl before Romo did. :)

It's more like nobody knows, because no one has ever herd of her. All most people know is that she chooses to make vulgar gestures on national TV, but yeah, it is really that no one "cares about all her altruism and humanitarian work ".

If she put as much effort into her music then maybe it would be good enough for everyone else to know who the hell she is and good enough for you to actually listen to it. ;)

I know you were just messing with him but I found it odd that so many people haven't heard of her. I am not a huge fan by any means but I know who she is and am familiar with some of her work. I tend to like a wide variety of music though so if you don't listen to Hip Hop type music or watch many movies I guess people wouldn't know her. Think she is kind of like soccer (futbol).....very popular around the world but not nearly as much in the US.

Looked up some stuff on her and she has a much more impressive resume than I thought:

See that....if she didn't flip the bird during the Superbowl (America's Biggest Stage) I wouldn't have looked any of that up, there would be no thread about her, and everyone in this thread would have been more productive doing something more worthwhile. As stupid as her gesture was....it worked to some extent at least.
