Wish they would go back to marching bands and breaking down the first half at halftime. I haven't watched a halftime show since our superbowl. Didn't really watch that one.

Agreed completely. The problem is that the NFL had had a heck of a time finding older artists who can put on a decent show.

Don't get me wrong, Lupe is by far my favorite hip hop artist, but you know he'd say something politically "incorrect" and he'd stir some sort of controversy. I love him for that, but I know a lot of people wouldn't.

If you don't know who she is, she's actually an activist and humanitarian, and not afraid to express what she believes even if it means she won't make a buck on it. I don't listen to her music but I know that the message in her lyrics aren't geared toward conservative white men or 7th graders with no perspective.

If she put as much effort into her music then maybe it would be good enough for everyone else to know who the hell she is and good enough for you to actually listen to it. ;)

well now that the people who book the artists for the halftime show have all of 1 1/2 seconds of a middle finger to overreact to we're going to go back to a bunch of older white rock musicians shaking their arthritic hips on the stage

they might as well wheel out john entwistle's corpse and the rest of the who so roger daltrey can miss all of his high notes again in 2013

Maybe they should have Carrie Underwood do the next one. Great voice, young and easy on the eyes. She has the American Idol thing going for to bring in viewers. She is highly unlikely to give the crowd the finger. And it would be kind of cool for her to be able to say she made it to the Superbowl before Romo did. :)
