Wide receivers in my opinion are the most overated position in the NFL. It seems almost every year you see a few become stars that hardly played the year before, you usually have atleast one that was drafted in the late rounds that ends up doing well and you usually have 2 that have close to 1,000 yards their rookie year that was drafted high.

I believe Steve Smith From Philly would be a nice pick up that we could have for cheap. Why spend a lot of money on a WR when we can take small risk on other WRs by signing them to a small 1 year contract, I feel that there will be about 3 or 4 who are FAs that could be signed for around the vet min and could end up being a solid #2. I also believe that we could draft a WR in late rounds that might be able to produce. I am not really familiar with the Wide receivers who are projected to go in late rounds in this years draft but I am sure there are going to be plenty that could be a sleeper pick.

I would love for someone to post a list of upcoming FA Wide receivers. So I could show you some of the players that we could sign for cheap deals that have a chance of having a bounce back year or break out year.

We could also just see what Gettis,Lafell, Pilares (who I believe can be a special player) and even Edwards can do next year.

Someone needs to throw together a Brandon Lafell highlight reel just to remind people here that he's a pretty good option as "that" guy.

If someone fell in out lap, that'd be one thing. But if were talking about "just guys" I'd rather *just* go with the *guy* we have.
