My point continues to be: WR is a signifigant need for the Panthers, and if we can get a badass there, that should rate as a priority. Maybe that's unrealistic.

The guy is very injury prone and at best a #3. Everyone thought he'd become the #2 after Smith left, but Cruz stepped up, Manningham didn't. Was it just me or did you guys hear cha-ching after every one of his receptions?

Manningham couldnt step up because he was hurt, and Cruz was salsaing his way to the end zone in every game at the time. this would be a nice pick up,pretty much any WR that has legit speed would be.

i think manningham would be a good addition to this team. a young guy who knows what it takes to win it all. weapons of steve smith, manningham, gettis, lafell, olsen, stewart, and possibly shockey would be great for cam and very difficult to stop and key in on everyone. oh and d-will out the backfield as well. if we could get him for 3yrs cheap. go for it

He had a really good post season, but I feel like he would be the next Holmes.

no, BIG differences. 1) Holmes has attitude issues it seems, Manningham doesnt seem to have that and 2) Holmes is much better in my book than Manningham. now i would look into this move, but only if it's for cheap.
