Basically you'll sign up for a card and ideally be approved immediately. With this promotion, you can either use your 20,000 points to purchase an item on the NFL shop or you can buy other items with the card from anywhere (at least $25 per item) and receive a statement to cover your purchases up to 200$.

I'll probably use it to get a Playstation Vita though I'll have to pay the remaining $50.

This won't hurt your credit at all. Of course they'll do an inquiry which will temporary set your score back a few points that you'll get back in a few months or so.

I got approved. I do these offers all the time and can vouch for them.

Canceling new cards doesn't hurt you that bad. You always want to avoid canceling cards you've had for a very long time though.

Is it just me or is it fuged up all the stupid poo that can negatively affect your credit?? Pay cc in full every month and u get negative points for canceling? Inquries into ur credit = negative??? Who oversees this retardation?

I don't know but it annoys me that I have excellent credit and I drop point while I look to buy a house for all these different inquiries they have to do.

Big ticket item inquiries only deduct points once. You're given a 60 day grace period I believe to shop around. At least that's how it was when I was doing mortgages. They all show up on your report, but only the initial inquiry hits you for the 9 points.
