To Cam: Just a wee bit of criticism

Dear Cam:

I think you are a great kid, and I have supported you from the beginning (unlike some of these dweebs) through all the questions, unwarranted criticism, and your vocalization of your desire to be an icon. Well, son, you are well on your way to iconic status. I am glad you did the national circuit in Indy yesterday. Cowherd, Rome, etc. I just knew you were going to give 99.9 The Fan, the Panthers' local affiliate in Raleigh, a little time. I was looking forward to your interview on the Adam Gold and Joe Ovies Show. But, alas, your rock-star status has seemingly made you overlook some diehard fans in Carolina. Cam, I don't know if you did an interview for the stations in Charlotte (I hope that you did if they are there), but there are Panthers fans right here in the Heart of Carolina who would love to hear a few words from our up and coming QB on the Adam and Joe Show. Don't forget us, Cam.

Sincerely,

Top Dawg.

Maybe it is me but I am a diehard Panthers fan and I saw or heard all the interviews. I might be a litttle slow, but what does it matter whether he appears in Indy, nationally or locally?? Is isn't like it is a fan call in format. He is appearing everywhere it seems to me.

I don't get the criticism.........

    • If you think Smith's hating on McMillian or tall recievers you didn't watch the video. He may have been guilty of that in the past but he says outright that his problem is people see a tall reciever and tend to overlook everything else about him. He was complimentary and believes the guy will pan out. His only real criticism was comparing Tetairoa to himself actually, saying like he felt like he took plays off when he wasn't the primary target.
    • I loved this draft. I think we have 3 starters out our first three picks. Maybe they take a year to develop but I don’t see them taking long.    I think Etiene is going to be a good back up. He’s only 20 so he has a lot to improve on.  I think we will see him be used on special teams this year. He won’t get many reps unless an injury happens because we got two 1,000 yard rb in front of him. I could see Ransom starting but I think he will probably be a back up, maybe playing special teams? I think hes probably got the lowest ceiling of all our drafted players. Cam Jackson will be a back up, probably not a lot of snaps this year. Could end up being a solid player for us.   I love the Mitchell Evans pick. He’s got potential to be our top TE. He had two different injuries that set him back in college but I think if he was healthy he would have been one of the top TE in the draft. I have even more faith in him because ND makes great tight ends. I don’t know if he will play much this year unless an injury happens though. Probably just a blocking TE this year.
