He has great hands and ball skills, my concern is he looks to have average playing speed and thats at a college level. We already have Brandon LaFell, I want a deep threat to replace smitty.

I completely agree.. players coming out of Notre Dame dont give me much confidence... remember that great QB they had coming into the draft that was the most NFL ready... his name was Jimmy Clausen aka "the bust"

we had the 5th ranked offense and almost last ranked defense... I dont understand why people think our 1st draft priority is a WR

Floyd is good, but i rather take Jeffery and Kendall Wright than Floyd for one big reason. Floyd had some off the field issues and that's always something you have to look into.

Floyd is a Top 15 talent. It will be interesting to see what type of 40 he runs at the combine. Corners will probably stay with him but what could make him special is his jumping ability and ball skills. Could be a poor man's Larry Fitzgerald. He'd be a natural for this offense. The value might not be there at 8 or 9 but at 12 to 15 it's a possibility. I'm beginning to think trading back is a good possibility. The value pick at 8 or 9 might be the OT prospects Reiff or Martin from Stanford. OT isn't our greatest need.

lol, I ask for a top 2 round talent drafted from Notre Dame in the last 15 years and you guys name the backup TE for the Seahawks and a rookie TE who had 249 yards all year.

You guys could of at least named John Sullivan or Ryan Grant. At least they are starters.

Kyle Rudolph was the consensus top TE in last year's draft. Pretty good prospect, easily fits the "top 2 round prospect" criteria you asked for. Ryan Grant is not good, not as good a RB as Kyle Rudolph will probably be at TE.
