After a lot of research...... here is my mock Draft....

With the 9th pick in the 2012 NFL Draft the Carolina Panthers Select....

Michael Brockers: DT 6'6 322 pounds

After watching video he like Still, Cox, Poe and even Coples is always double teamed, and never gets knocked down, and when single teamed is unstoppable. He can also play anywhere on the line.... would right more but there are entire threads dedicated to him... Watch the Mississippi State, and Georgia video on youtube he's got better tape then the other 4 prospects mentioned just less numbers.

2nd Round Pick.....

Janoris Jenkins: KB/KR 5'10 194 Pounds

Great speed, has covered the best receivers in college football. returned three kicks for touchdowns last year. Has Stats to back up hype. Great Senior bowl. Great backpedal and fluid hips. Caracter concerns blah blah blah.... he probably wont be here and if that happens we can still go for Tru, Josh Robinson, or Jayron.

Trade up into 3rd Round Pick

Bruce Irvin: OLB 6'3 245 Pounds

Big strong kid. Fast as ____. 23 reps not bad for the line backer he is. Hopefully he can be taught to cover flats, tight ends, and running backs due to his athleticism. But even if not we have one heck of a guy to bring in on obvious passing situations. Super raw but thats why we are only using a third round pick.

4th Round Pick

Keenan Robinosn: ILB/OLB 6'3 242 Pounds

Like Irvin, Robinson has a frame he can grow into. Long arms, 4.69 speed, 27 bench, 35.5 inch vertical he can be a great back up or rotational player for us. Im liking the idea of a comity at positions like we have at running back. Situational and rotational tansfer of player keeps TD, JAnderson and Beason healthy while developing young players. He could also help us on special teams. Nigel Bradham is another option here although he's not as instinctive he is a hard hitter and productive.

5th Round Pick

Brandon Brooks: OG 6'5 346 Pounds

Big Strong long arms agile. Brooks ran a 4.98 40-yard dash while putting up 36 reps on the bench press. Will Provide good depth.

Danny Coale: WR/Punter 6'0 200 Pounds

Heres your draft steal. We get a punter (averaging 43.5 yards per punt) a Wes Welker like slot receiver (904 yards his senior season) and a leader. He ran a 4.37 at his pro day. Smart kid who happens to have amazing hands and concentration (Watch the VT vs Michigan game catch), and is 3 inches taller than Welker.

Terrell Manning: OLB 6'2 237 Pounds

You need to be in the FO brah haha. seriously..good mock..I've been high on Iloka since I first saw the kid. He's a beast. I like ur cb picks as insurance. I would like to get a punter as a UDFA and maybe get an extra lb with that last pick. But we may have that luxury if we get some compensatories. If we do get those. I would like to get Patrick Edwards outta Houston and another LB.

I actually met Mitchell Schwartz at a "Meet The Players" type thing day before the Senior Bowl.

He was a funny dude. Me and him him talked for a few minutes, he went into detail about the story he told on panthers.com about his brother's fiancé wanting them to live right next to each other. Said she is planning on having a skywalk to connect their two apartments where they can build their man cave and everything. It was pretty hilarious.

Also heard Gerrel Robinson tell another fan that if he could play anywhere it would be Carolina. Sure I don't have to tell you the reason why.

Here's a hint: :cam:

pretty cool to have these young guys want to come to our team in a way they didn't before.

      This is factually incorrect. He was a two time Pro Bowler with the Rams and in fact statistically he was better with the Rams in his best season there than he has been with the Lions(could change with this season). Some of his per game stats have creeped into being marginally better with the Lions but there have not been dramatic differences in his play, actually. The biggest reason that McVay and he ended up splitting was McVay didn't think he could win a title with Goff. TBH.....so far he was 100% correct. Stafford almost immediately won them a SB and Goff in a historic run was about 70% of the reason the Lions faltered in the NFC championship game. He missed critical throws all over the first half and throughout the second half that he normally wouldn't. He choked. So, until Goff actually does win a SB...McVay has been right.

      they have the best defense they've had in a long time...probably the best in the reid/mahommes era.  but i think they are probably the most beatable they've been in a while as well. record doesn't exactly bear that out, but they just don't look as strong on offense as they usually do. lots of reasons for that, like trying to build chemistry with newer receivers, but right now they just aren't as frightening as they typically are. i mean they'll probably win tomorrow, but i don't see them as the strongest team in the AFC right now.

      He will likely remain unsigned the remainder of this season(barring someone being in a pure QB panic AND making poor decisions) largely due to the cost. I do think he will get multiple offers to be a backup QB and perhaps a couple to potentially start this offseason.  I will continue to beat the same horse over and over.....he should go to a successful team with an established starter. If I were him, go to somewhere like SF, LAR, etc. Somewhere with a successful QB coach and brilliant offensive mind and ALSO a set situation at QB. Ride the pine and adjust for a year or two. Chill and be around better culture. I would suggest the same for Bryce but he will be limited to wherever we can trade him.
